Yeah, I was surprised when I saw that list! Amazing.
I'd move back to 32-bit XP except for the fact that I have 4gb of RAM that I really want to keep. I'm beginning to think it's not worth it.

Anyway, since disabling Windows Defender, I haven't had any crashes AND, the 'un-named program' released an update yesterday that lists 'fixes common crash in Vista related to NOD32'.

So you guys were right from the start, it was the fault of the un-named program.

Thank you so much for all your help.

EDIT: If I can't edit my main post, how can I change this thread to 'RESOLVED'?
