Windows Vista - vista flash player problem posted in the Operating Systems forums; hi folks,can someone help me,i used to have flash player with no problems,my pc was running slow so deleted some applications and not sure what i deleted but flash hasnt ...

Default vista flash player problem

hi folks,can someone help me,i used to have flash player with no problems,my pc was running slow so deleted some applications and not sure what i deleted but flash hasnt worked since,evertime i try to download flash to my system it goes through the download process right up till the final bit and then just goes back to the start of the download and doesnt download,it's as if it's going in a loop adobe flash is loaded on my pc wit a x through it,i've done the uninstall and re installed it to no effect,can u please help it's driving me wild!!

Hi roundy,

Download and the run the Flash uninstaller and installer from the link below. Run the uninstaller, reboot then run the installer again.

Please post back if it still won't install.

Click the http:// line - the colours are very similar which makes the links hard to see.

hi diire ran the uninstaller fine no probs,tried to install and got to the final bit where the green n white stripped box is rotating when 2 boxes flashed up in the back ground which were un readable and the page refreshed to the when you see the installation complete movie and text below your installation is complete. which as i said it looks like it's going round in a loop mate!

Can you please check Event Viewer to see if there are any errors that seem to be related to your problem.

To check Event Viewer - Click Start > in the search bar type: eventvwr.msc
Press Enter.

Please post back any error messages listed there that seems to be related. You can click the copy button and paste them into your post.
