Windows Vista - BSOD on startup. Just installed new mobo posted in the Operating Systems forums; Yo, I just installed a new mobo and I get a BSOD everytime I startup. 0x0000007B (0x80399BB0, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I can't even get into safe mode. Umm.. help?...

Default BSOD on startup. Just installed new mobo

Yo,

I just installed a new mobo and I get a BSOD everytime I startup.

0x0000007B (0x80399BB0, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I can't even get into safe mode.

Umm.. help?

Hey Bikkit,how are you?

Try disconnecting the hard drive and reboot.

Have a read of this also while you wait for the Tech Team to step in and help you.

No it is definitely the motherboard. I've looked online and loads of people have had the same problem.

Hi since the mainboard has been changed it will need the windows repair installed to get it going again this is totally normal so don't pannic.

Okay, thanks. I've already been chatting to jelly bean and upgrader about this on chat and they suggested repair install as well. unfortunately I don't have the original vista disk so I'm *ahem* using "other" ways of getting one.
