Hi again,

I tryed changing cpus but the pin layout not the same
I was thinkin, my sister got the same laptop and its insured as well, can i put my motherboard and cpu into her laptop, so its got her case and hard drive and everything but my broken motherboard or cpu with out them knowing? lol

Cmon Terry, you know I can't advise doing that. LOL

Have you checked to see if you could get a "parts" laptop, one that say doesn't have an OS, but would fit your layout? We've had several users do that in order to change out the mobo and cpu. It's certainly worth a look at ebay etc.

I have looked everywhere for the parts for my laptop and no one sells them, i have email packard bell as well and they have not replyed and its been over a week.
Im going to buy a new laptop tomorrow, im going to get a new hp laptop tomorrow
