Default Windows Vista crashing- Scan report, please help

Hi,

In the last two months, my Vista has kept giving me blue screens and freezes. I haven't installed any software that I can think of that would have caused this problem. I ran a HijackThis scan, and would appreciate if anyone could suggest what is out of the ordinary here and if there are any fixes. I am also attaching a zip of my last four minidump files the most recent crashes.

Would appreciate any help!

Hi Imthiaz,

Can you please attach some minidumps so we can have a look at them for you. Please see the instructions in the link below. They're are pretty much the same in Vista as XP. The minidumps are usually located in c:\windows\minidumps

Hi Imthiaz - Sorry just wanted to check with our minidump expert before I posted back. It seems that your bluescreens may be related to your Norton antivirus. Can you please uninstall Norton temporarily to see if the bluescreens disappear. There is a Norton removal tool available from their website. I recommend you use this to uninstall Norton properly. Please let me know if that helps the bluescreens. You will need to reinstall Norton or perhaps you could try another Antivirus like AVG Free.
