Hi,
When I start Windows Vista, I see the little green moving bar that indicates that Vista is loading but when it’s done, the screen turns black and stays this way.
I saw
this on Microsoft. It says in the article that the problem was fixed with service pack 1 but I have it installed and I get this problem anyway.
It says that I have to do a clean installation or a parallel installation of Windows Vista to resolve the problem. I dont want to reinstall Vista and lose everything.
Just before I had the problem, I was watching videos on Youtube and at one point, the system froze. I had to force quit the computer by holding the power swich. But when it was time to reboot, I got the the black screen.
Does someone have other options besides doing a clean installation of Vista ?
