Default w2207 monitor

I have a vista machine and an HP monitor which worked fine until this morning, I accidently pushed the reset to default button on the monitor menu and the screen reloaded to a 3 inch gap at the top and the left side has moved over to the right about 4 to 5 inches and of course dropped 3 inches. it worked fine for the past year and the menu won't move it far enough to repair it. What can I do? I have worked all day trying to restore (no luck) and have to use a resoultion very small to fill the screen.
Thanks
Woody

Hello.

In monitor settings you should locate the section with the tv shaped icons with arrows on one edge this maybe just a line on one edge. This should pull or stretch your screen to the correct size.Or try auto adjust.

I think it is the same as the w1707.

On the bottom left of the monitor are 4 buttons: menu, +, -, Select.

Press Menu and a menu will appear. use the - button to scroll down to Image Control, press Select. Scroll down to the adjustment you want to make. Exit out when finished.

Hope it works. Good luck.

Do you have a command on the monitor to restore to back to factory settings?

Have you tried device manager and updated drivers?Could you also update drivers of the monitor if it requires drivers.

Do you have a NVIDIA control panel installed?Or an ATI control panel? If your graphics card is one of these brands this may mean you need to update drivers and install this control panel from there website.

Here is manual, driver download and troubleshoot:http://search.hp.com/gwukeng/query.h...utf-8&qt=w2207
