Default Character issues
Hey guys! I working on this laptop thats giving me hell. It's a Sony Vaio VGN-FS810/W. When I go to IE and type in the address bar a url, it gives me another random character. For instance, if I type in an "M" it gives me "*" or a "6" or something. Why is it doing that and what can do to fix it?

Hi,not sure on this one but do all the keys misstype?Lets say if you were using notepad or typing an email?

Have you tried regional settings?In control panel.Or tools/internet options/languages button?

No...I haven't tried that one yet. I guess I can do that, huh. Let me try that and see what happens. But when it prompts me to put a password in on log on, it's fine until it gets to the main desktop.
