I use Vista's Windows Mail.

I have an intermittent problem in that every twenty or so launches of the program it hangs at the Connect stage of connecting to the Email server (I use Yahoo email). When I cancel the email window (along with the two following windows) then launch Windows Mail again it goes through OK.

1. Does anyone have this problem?

2. Have you found a solution?

Since it never happens twice in a row, it's very hard to troubleshoot.

I tried using Vista mail but found it very slow to open,I did not search for a fix for this I just decided not to use it.

I just click start,all programs,windows mail.It is the preinstalled Vista Windows Mail.

I just tried an installation of another email program.

I experienced the same timeout problem with it as I am with Windows Mail.

This tells me either they both have the same problem (unlikely), or the timeout problem is not with Windows Mail.

That makes it sound like the problem is with Yahoo
