Hi

I bought a lenovo 3000 N200 laptop at christmas and it worked fine until 20th June.

started computer and woulden't go into start-up.
I used Rescue and recovery, diden't fid any probolems so i restored it.
I Restarted computer, logged in and got message "you may be a victim of counterfitting".
Restarted computer later on and got black screen saying "bootMSG is missing"

Can someone please help me!

Do you have the Vista install DVD?You need this for your fix.

I never got the install DVD with the laptop.
I will Just send it back to the place i bought it

Hello James,you need to have Vista reinstalled.

You can either try this link:Windows Vista Help: Restore your computer from a system image backup

Or you could try contacting were you bought this machine and see if they will send you a Vista disk.Or yes send it back and have Vista reinstalled.
