So i wanted to change my vista theme to a custom made one, and according to the guide, i had to edit some DLL files, i wasn't thinking, and copied the persons NEW dll files and changed the name of my old ones.
The dll files i changed were

browseui.dll
ieframe.dll
imageres.dll
and exe in c drive under windows called EXPLORER. i also had to do that too.
Now my laptop's finger pad mouse thinger wont work, Nor can i edit any of my DLL's to change back what i started, i right click delete the ones i copied, and it just does likea really quick screen flash then does nothing, i tried restarting, didn't help, i also tried system restore, but when i click an EXE i get an error talking about something (null)

Cant find the imageres.dll and a default explorer.exe

I Have both of them, they are IN the sys32 folder, its just whenever i try to Re-rename them , i get like.......i do it, then the screen flickers and nothing happens, i also tried draggin to desktop, renaming and redragging, wont work.
Everytime i open any vista application that makes a window popup for confirmation, for example any game, anything in admin mode, basically all apps, i get "file system error (65535)"
and if i open any windows, not including like music folders, but like appearance etc, i just get CANNOT BE DISPLAYED.
i cant go into advance command prompt to type Sfc/scannow to fix all the errors, because it requires administator, which gives me the 65535 error, i'm basically *******
Also i cant go into safe mode to edit anything, because when i turn on my PC a screen pops up with like 100 different colours, the ENTIRE screens that, for like 5 minutes, then it goes directly into login page, so holding F8just freezes it.
Is there anyway i can fix this?

download a live linux distro PCLinuxOS this one works well pretty much like windows. Browse to the files and edit the nanes of the rogue files then rename the ones you edited.

Please do no swear although I would have thought there was a swear filter here to cover that word lol

also sorry for swearing, ive spent 5 hours researching, im going to explode.
also the download is an ISO file? how might i go about using it?
keep in mind i cant open any applications that require the stupid vista admin thing.

did you get a restore pack with the machine? the iso file needs burning with a program like imgburn thats free but I do not know if your system will let you do it. Im guessing your win 95 machine will not let you burn so is there a friend or neighbour that could download and burn the image for you?

So the iso is useless unless i can burn it?

all i got was 1 disk with my machine, a anytime update disk, now that being said i assume it will reinstall vista, but the problem is, is that i cant even use my disk drive.

you should be able to boot from the cd if it is a recovery. Is this a tower or a laptop? when you turn the machine on press the del key a few times and see if you get into setup/bios. If that does not work try F2 or rarely F1. Find the boot order and set cd to first device then try and boot from the cd

I wish it were that simple, honestly.
See the moment i turn my computer on, i get a Neon bright stupid looking screen, with a ton of muticoloured lines, if i touch f8 to go into safe mode it just freezes like that, if i wait it takes me directly to the login screen ._.
i wish i could get a break, for once.

well that can not be something you have done inside windows.Is your machine under warrenty? If it is use that as a fault to take it back

Is there a port on your machine to use a wired mouse?Green one?

If you can get into windows and could you try a system restore?To time before you did the changes?

If you cannot let me know and we can try a diffrent fix.
