Default Display instability on some Web pages

Had some problems with Internet access and out of frustration I Started adjusting various settings. To many to remember.

Problem: SOME Internet Web pages move up and down vertically ~1/2". The task bars at the top and bottom do not move at all. This makes the page very unstable. I am sure I have adjusted something incorrectly. My trying to fix it may be making it worse.
I have been using Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit and have mostly satisfied.

My system: Dual core Intel 4400 @ 2.00GHz
Motherboard: NFORCE 680i LT SLI
Memory: 4GB
1 HD at 160 GB, 1 HD at 120 GB
2 Nvida 7900 GS Graphic cards 256 mb
Monitor: Hannns G JC199D

Thanks...Warren

Hi there,
You could try the following if you haven't already:

To reset Internet Explorer settings - Vista

1. Close any Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.
2. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button and then clicking Internet Explorer.
3. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.
5. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.
6. When Internet Explorer finishes restoring the settings, click Close, and then click OK.
7. Close Internet Explorer.
Your changes will take effect the next time you open Internet Explorer.
