Hi, no, it wouldnt be harmful at all, the only thing to worry about really going from vista to XP is making sure that you can get all the neccesary device drivers but as i see from here>Business support forums - Switching to XP, a6250z series, Driver Help
its easy to get hold of them for your PC
I would download them and save them to cd first specually if you connect to the net via ethernet as sometimes these do not have generic drivers in xp and you could be left without the net to download the drivers lol .
