please can anyone help
i turn on laptop, but it will not go any further, the toshiba comes up with errors occured then it says fix them and that is as far as it goes, please can someone help me as my husband has important work on there and he did not back it up

what are the errors

its says when i turn laptop on the toshiba bit comes up then it says errors
either launch startup repair or start windows normally but when i click on launch startup repair, nothing happens only the cursor comes on the screen then nothing? need to get on comp as important work files on there and husband never backed them up awwwwww

do you have an xp cd?

i have a product recovert cd

boot from that and see if there is a repair install option but make sure it clearly says it will not format
