reboot the pc. If you end up with the error you will need to either enter bios or select boot up options. If when you boot the pc you have a full screen logo press tab and this should let you see post messages. Look for boot select could be f8 or f12 or whatever press that.Then select boot from cd rom. If it does not tell you this look for setup this will be F2 or the Del key most likely. Press than and you enter bios. Look around for boot sequence and get cdrom top of the list change nothing else and press F10 or save and exit. Then reboot and the pc should either boot direct from cd or say to boot from cd press any key

i have tried to rebbot went into the bois thing,then clickback to the cd/rom then f10, then it went back to toshiba then the micrpsoft coropration thing came across then the white cursor is on screen all balck background and nothing?
do i need to put the cd in to do this? sorry new to this

hi did as u said
went into bois went to cd and at same time the cd is in, then done f10 then rebboted it but it came up with the launch startup and the white cursor is on the screen and nothing happening
