Smile booting vista into dos mode to flash bios from CD

I would like to boot my Vista in DOS mode so that I can flash "upgrade" my BIOS.
I don't have a working floppy drive so I went out to bootdisk.com and found an ISO image and burned it to a CD with the new flashEXE.exe file to upgrade my BIOS. However my computer doesn't recognize the ISO as something that it will boot from.

So my question is how can I boot my computer into DOS mode without a floppy drive so that I can upgrade my BIOS?

I am running Vista Business edition on a ASUS A7N8X-e deluxe mobo and the AMD 2600 cpu. The other stats are on file

Thank You
Kevin

Welcome to PCHF,

Unfortunately, you can only install new BIOS from a floppy drive, unless your motherboard has a desktop utility to do it from your OS desktop.

Maybe you can try doing it from a removable device..

See if in your BIOS you have the option to update it
