Have you scanned your PC for virus,s etc lately or deleted any spyware etc?

Code 10 is CD/DVD rom.

Have you tried uninstalling it from device manager and then reboot PC to see if found new hardware picks it up and installs it?

Hello, did your brothers Vista disk come supplied with a PC/laptop?Is it OEM?

I would do this Page Ranking-work to rule out virus,s http://www.pchelpforum.com/hijackthi...a-prework.html

Maybe a repair install?

He may of deleted something from registry wich he should not of due to a virus?
