I have Windows vista ulmate installed and since last 6 months I cannot update all the critical updates and recommended updates.I get error code 80070057.Can anybody help me.?

I dont have games on my computer. only game i have played on my comp. is spider solitaire.

This may be a dumb question, but has your Vista been properly activated by Microsoft?
Lack of activation can cause updates to not be installed.
