Ok, I might have a fix for you, but it involves messing with the registry, I can guide you through it if you want to try this, but understand that you must do exactly as I say.

Otherwise I'll keep bugging Google

Aha! I got it! Or I think I have anyways.

If you wanna pop open Regedit, and navigate to this location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\winlogon\

And edit one setting:

See where it says:

Set 'Shell' variable =
Make sure it reads a

Set 'Shell' variable = 'Explorer.exe'

thnx alot man ur a life saver. jus wondering what might cause the problem, should i be worried about viuses spyware etc. all i did was install updates and restarted it.

I think it's mainly just a bug that happened, if it happens again then it could be spyware, but currently I think it was an accident
