For all -me included- who thought SP1 will make THE difference

WinVistaClub : Microsoft Commissioned Test Shows Vista SP1 Performs Comparably to XP and Vista RTM.

It is amazing to see that an attempt is made to hide facts, as is the claim "The results revealed that Windows Vista performance was on par with Windows XP."

If anything else, it's fun reading...

Nah vista SP1 never would beat XP, its just fixin the faults. They still need to sort the read/write issues.

Personaly I would leave Vista SP1 well alone untill its final edit and they get the bugs out(if they ever get the bugs out).

Im just waiting for it to appear on my windows update before trying it, don't have the time to reinstall everything atm if something goes wrong. I know cowburn tried it and had problems which resulted in him reformatting.

I have Ultimate, so I just restored a previous backup, but the point is those people are either liars or utterly stupid...
