Default Vista Boot Disc

Recently the hard drive on my Asus R1fa2 tablet notebook gave out. I use this tablet everyday for school, and lost everything since last september. The backups I made were all corrupt...so I lost everything. When I went to boot up, it displayed a message that it could not find the boot media. I spent six hours trying to get it to run the recovery disc that was packaged with it; but then had to do a full recovery. I wanted to know if there is a way to make a boot disc so I can get access to my files if this happens again. Thanks in advance

This is what you want
NTFS Read/Write Bootdisk And Bootable CDs | Read, Write, Copy, Delete, And Edit files on NTFS drives or partitions from a DOS boot. No A: drive needed to create the bootable CD. Read ntfsboot.txt in the zippack for complete directions. But I can't find the link I must be blind here where it should be Bootdisk.Com Popular Files
