Default [Pending] Wont stay asleep

Hi Folks, Ive just got myself a new PC, Compaq SR5249 and my first time with Vista, all is going well albut when I put PC in to "Sleep" (to go for meal etc) it goes to sleep then after 30/40 seconds it starts up again,,,,,,,Help Please.

Hi Moderator, Thanks for your help,,,,,,,not both mouse & keyboard hard wired, I also have a BT Hub running,,,,,,and a Seagate external Hard drive.

Hi D,

Just tried sending my PC to "Sleep Mode" with my BT Hub switch off at the plug,,,
and the sleep mode works OK,,,,???
But now have no idea why this is.

Hi VFR, can u get into the bios screen on bootup and see if you have Wakeonlan enabled, this could be waking your pc up if it detects an incoming packet of data from the router as described here> When a Windows Vista-based computer is awakened from sleep by a magic packet, and the WakeOnLAN feature is enabled, the computer's desktop is displayed unexpectedly
