So I had a power outage last night and at that time my laptop was plugged into my monitor so I couldnt get the display to return so I put it in hibernate and went to bed. Then this morning I tried to recover it, so it showed the progress bar and then the screen would just go black and sit there. So I restarted but this time I chose just to start a fresh boot or whatever it says. Now it shows Windows loading, then flashes a blue screen and restarts. It does this no matter what, even when I try to boot XP or go into safe mode. What do I do?? This is my business computer, I need it back immediately. Please help!

Can you get any error code from the blue screen please?

I can't, it flashes too quickly.

As you had a power out there maybe hardware damage.IE graphic card.

Well it's a laptop so it didnt cut the power to that.

ok the monitor was plugged into laptop wich in turn monitor was plugged into power supply.
