Default [Answered] Dual boot XP and Vista

hello peeps,

I got myself a nice shiny Vista Home Premium DVD this morning and was gonna dual boot with my current Xp install, ive done a load of research and i think ive got the gist of it, i was just wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks or opinions that will make the install less stressful lol

The only thing i can tell you is becareful sizing your partitions, vista takes up a lot more space than xp, so judge the partition sizes.

You may find yourself booting into xp more after the first couple weeks due to the fact you will need to obtain newer versions of a lot of software for vista.

YAY!! It worked! i`m posting this from Vista!! I cant believe how easy it was!! Ive installed all my programs and they all work, had a very tiny issue with my sound card but i just clicked on update the driver and it sorted itself out. Just downloading updates from microsoft now.
