i have a toshiba satellite a215-s7472
comes with 250 gigas but there's some space missing i wanna take

i wanna format n do a fresh install of vista premium i have a partition called EISA
that has 1.46 gigas i wanna delete it, but im not sure if i can or what should i do
i wonder where there other space is gone



as can b seen adding all the partitions gives 232.88 gigas

36.11 gigas C:/
195.31 gigas D:/
1.46 gigas EISA

_what is that EISA partition well i saw is about some tools but what is it useful for me

the missing size your talking about is really not missing at all

a 250gb hard drive when formatted comes out to be about 238gb.

every hard drive does this and the advertised size is not true to what you will get when formatted.

delete everything and format one or two partitions for vista installation.
good way to do this before doing a clean install of vista with its disc manager
