I think i have both Vista Ultimate and Windows XP on my computer, because everytime i start my computer there are 2 options, XP or Vista. ok. Im on Vista now right.

I start installing my game (GunboundWC) minimum requirements of DirectX 8.0 (but i have 9.0c) how do i resolve this problem? do i have to download a graphic card? because when i run the game, it asks for 3D graphic card, and i know that is DirectX right?

Please help, still couldnt get to play Gunbound until now

It's Vista that Gunbound is not compatible with Vista as far as I'm aware, as well as many games and programmes. You should be able to run it in compatibility mode. Right click on the Gunbound icon, and go to Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab, and under "Compatibility Mode", select Windows 2000/XP.

But im logged into Vista, and my XP doesnt work anymore. (trial expired because of some technician who only put trial windows) what do i do? -trying out what you said-

ehm, i couldnt play still.. then when i press OK, it redirects me to the softnyx site,downloads page..

What graphics card do you have?

First of all directx is simply a driver. a piece of software. A graphics card is an actual hardware that needs to be installed physically into your pc. so you cant download it. When gunbound (awesome game) says it cant find a 3d graphics card its because you either dont have one or havent installed it.
