Default [Answered] can't access main/admin account on vista

hi, my name is chris.I'm new as you can see. heres my problem, i cant seem to access my main/admin account on my pc, not only that but i can't see it on the welcome screen. i'm using a guest account, i tried everything i saw on the net. i keep getting the same message: "access denied" .
my question is how can i access my domain account by just using my guest account.

Hi Chris, welcome to PCHF.

If your talking about the Administrator account, this should really be used for general use, and should only be used for emergencies, not normally visible at the welcome screen, but needs to exist.

Reboot your PC, and go into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key just after the post screen. You'll then have a logon box, which you can type in the username "Administrator", and it's password. You can then access your user accounts in Control Panel, and enable or create any accounts you need with "Computer Admin" access from there.
