Can anyone please tell me if there is going to be a service pack out for vista? If so what is it going to do? How much will it cost or will microsoft give them out for free?

Hi pieman

SP1 is expected sometime next year, and as all microsoft updates they are free for genuine copies of windows.

Haven't heard any news lately about it but this may help:
