I recently dropped $2200 and got myself an overkill PC to enjoy gaming at its best. Unfortunetly every single one of my games crash, randomly. And I mean randomly. Sometimes 30 seconds into a level, sometimes 2 hours later. I can play Crysis on the highest settings in direct X10 and it will run smooth as butter, no matter what insane action is going on screen, untill it just randomly crashes. Ive tried playing in windowed mode to see if I could catch an error message or see if a program is interfering, but nothing...it crashes so hard I cant do ANYTHING not even the clock continues working. I have the latest drivers for my video card and I am using the 64bit vista. I know for sure its not the games that are the issue because even demos I have beat on my old computer crash randomly.

I really don't know what to do. I dont have the slightest clue what is causing the crash, everything runs just perfect untill it craps out. Please toss me some advice before I throw this 2 thousand dollar paperweight out the window >_<

Does the System Event Viewer shed any light on these crashes? How to view and manage event logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP

No it only shows when I had to force a reboot.
