Default Vista network drive problem

Hi im not sure if this is an issue with vista or not but I am having trouble with a vista laptop that is set up on a small network of 4 computers. The other computers are running windows XP Pro and basically one of the xp machines is set up as the main computer where all the network drives are shared from. From all the computers I have a network drive connected to a folder on the main computer that requires a username and password. When putting in a username and password then clicking the tick box to say remember this user, it should load the network drive every time you restart the computer without asking you for the UN and PW, however on the vista computer it always seems to lose it meaning that I have to put it in everytime before I can use the drive, printers ie on the main computer. Does anyone know why this may be??

Many Thanks
Phil

Anyone got any ideas here? Is there any way to stop it asking for user credentials fullstop. For instance disabling it on the main computer where all the folders are shared from?

I never found a solution to this but found a workaround by creating a local user on the xp main computer that had the same username and password as a local user on the vista computer and that seemed to solve it.
