Ive had this strange problem for the last week or so. If i try to start any full screen game it automatically minimizes to the taskbar and if i try to open it again it keeps minimizing. Also, my taskbar will randomly freeze then unfreeze every few minutes. I can get between programs by using alt tab and the windows button but none of the quick launch buttons or tabs work. Let me know what info you need to help me solve this problem. Rich

Hi Dickydoo Do you get any error message at all indicating what the problem maybe? Have you installed any programs recently that may have caused it?

Is there a virus going around making this happen to video games lol. I have seen alot of this latletly..

Your system specs would help as well.

Ram especially. Although I do not think that would make them minimize...

As MadMatt suggests about the error codes..

Right Click my computer..
Click on manage..
When the window pops up click the little + next to event viewer..
If you know what times these things happend see if there are any red or yellow warnings (or marks) pointing to a program or the system

Shared Memory: 191 MB
System Model: HP Pavilion dv2000

These are the clif notes of the system, ive attached the dxdiag file if you want more info. It was strange it was working fine eariler today in class(yes it was a long class.....lol) but it started up again after i restarted....ugh.
