can anyone help me
i have just turned on my pc & my password will not work on startup. i know the password is right i have tried sevral times now but no luck. i never set up a passwork disc( didnt know i had to ) the password worked this morning, i havent changed it, it the same one i have used on all my pc's so i know it the right one.
please help

Hello BlackPoolOwl, welcome to PCHF.

PC's don't forget passwords, or get password wrong, or change password's themselves. Check your [CAPS LOCK] and [NUM LOCK] buttons, and remember that these could have been on/off when the password is set/changed.

If your still having problems, let us know which startup password your having problems with (BIOS, XP welcome screen e.t.c.), and we'll provide you with instructions on how to reset.
