Hi guys,

I just did the update from XP home to Vista Home Premium. Had a few problems, but figured it out. The only thing i can't figure out is why my internet connection is so slow now. I'm on Charter Communications 5mb plan. Before while running XP i had good speeds, but now i have frequent time outs and pages that just won't stop trying to load.

I've downloaded all the vista updates, tried running with firewalls off, tried rolling back my drivers for my network addaptor, tried UPDATING my drivers for my network adapter and nothing works. the only thing i've notices is that when i did roll back my drivers my speed increased for about 5 minutes but goes back to not working after that.

any help would be appreciated.

I've fixed the problem.
The one thing i forgot to do before the upgrade too! Forgot to update my router's firmware. Everything is smooth and i'm flying across the internet again!
