HELP

I went to install windows 2000 on a different partition of my hard drive whilst vista would still be on the other partition.

BUT!!!!

windows 2000 said that it couldnt install because it could not reconise any hardware, then stopped my pc from accepting any operating system. is the pc broke, is there anyway of telling the pc that it can boot from another operating syste. BUT!! too late now actually because no operating system works and my recover dvd acer gave me does not work, it did until today. when i start the pc it i get a black screen with nothing. i think at the top for 2 seconds it says detecting hardware then i get a blank screen.

what shall i do.

p.s windows 2000 goes to install hut does not work after formatting and restarting the pc wont start up the setup process.

OK thanks for letting us know. If you could post how you fixed it then it will aid other members who may get a similar problem.

i had to format the whole hard drive. put windows 2000 on it and make the hard drive 1 partition and install windows vista back on the whole hard drive using my acer boot disc. will just keep windows 2000 on my other pc.
