Hey there,

Try uninstalling your printer(s) - then download the latest drivers and re-install them. Also, do you have anything relating to your printer company (HP Epson..etc..) in your startup tab of Start > Run > msconfig ?

I don't have a printer installed on this computer.

This error message seemed to happen right after the Windows updates finished installing... hm

Hi there, if you have a Windows vista, cd, put it in your CD Drive, and then press the Windows key + R to display a Run command. in the open box type "sfc scannow" (without quotes) and press enter. This will run through and replace any missing or damaged system files.

That didn't fix it.
