I got vista installed but now I cant install Autodesk Inventor it pops up incompatibal operating system.

So I though id partition my c drive so I can run Windows XP then install Autodesk Indentor on that.

But I have never done this and vagly know how so some help is wanted!



Also while sort of on this subjec, a few weeks ago I ordered a copy of Ubunto poped it in my dvd drive and nothing, it works in my brotheres computer, id love to figure that out becouse I want to try it.

Hi I have found the best way to do this is to use MS Virtual PC This is how I run Autocad 2005 in Vista Microsoft Virtual PC 2007

easier than setting up partitons and more reliable but if you feel you need to do a multiboot post back here

Ok that looks like a really cool program that can do just what i need, only i don't know how it works. Iv downloaded it and i think i satup a vpc but all i get is a black screen that says somthing with a spining back slash.

insert the windows XP cd it should boot from it and install
