Hi --wlecome to PCHF

i changed my filter as told by my broadband provider
Question: what do you mean by "filter"--
you mean security settings?
A firewall? If so which one?

I would try clearing the cache-- sometimes a corrupted cookie can cause this.

You could have your firewall settings to high try reducing them, add the sites address that your trying to access to the list of permited sites in the internet options security tab in IE7. Also try this, it works for me. When I try to navigate on a web page to another part of the same site I get the "cannot display web page" you maybe able to get round this by right clicking on the link and choose the "open link in new window" this works for me but only on certain sites. Good luck.
