Hrmm...
Ok, well next thing to check is to make sure you have enough power...follow the PSU Calculator link in my signiture, and enter in all your PC details...add 30% onto the total wattage it says..and that's how much you should have..(for power spikes).

You might also need to check what rails your Power Supply Unit has in it.

Total wattage came out to 438w, which is well below the max for my PSU (650w)

This PSU replaced the one that came with the case, which was also getting these errors when it was in it.

ok no problems.
650watt is good

Hmm...further searching has revealed this is a problem with alot of nvidia drivers.

Best thing to do at the moment is to keep installing newer drivers. Find one that sits righ twith the motherboard.

I'll keep looking and see if i can find something more solid.

Hi Sharrock,

Just after a quick update - any luck with trying a few different sets of drivers?

Unfortunatley the problem still persists. I'm keeping up to date with all the drivers, but alas I still get errors.

Well it looks like with the last batch of Vista Updates corrected the problem. I can set my power settings to performance and I've yet to get a single error. So MS came through for me
