Default [Pending] Windows Media Center

Can anyone explain to me why when i play music thru Windows Media Center it takes ages to load or play music ? When i do it thru the normal way (from the start up screen) it works fine ! Please help confused fella

This is just a guess, but the WMC is a bigger application. It "plays" a bigger variety of mediums. It has more programming to sort through. Whereas, by playing the music directly, you go directly to the necessary "player" for your specific medium.

Does that make any sense to you? One of the Staff can probably give you more technical specifications for the reason.

Many Thanks , yes it does , the screen also freezes for up to 2 mins before options become available sometimes ! Its when i play music i like to scroll thru some of my pictures , thats the reason why i do it , i wonder if there is anyway of straightening out the problem or is it just simply a **** program ?

It's not to bad of a program. I have it on one of my pc's I like it. Granted it adds allot of garbage to your hard drive but that the price I suppose.

What are your system specs? I can show ya how to make it a little faster..
