If you have Vista, you may have noticed that as your typing an email that POOF the program will just shutdown. Well, Microsoft came up with a Data Execution Prevention scheme. It's meant to hinder "unwanted activity". Unfortunitely, Vista can't tell the difference between "unwanted activity" and you composing an email. So, to be on the safe side POOF.
