Hi to all,

I have tried changing the default remote desktop port from 3389 to 3393 in Vista Business and have taken the procedures Microsoft say on how to change the default port in Regedit.

I authorize it on the Firewall but still can´t get it to work.

I turn off the Firewall and still it doesn´t allow to connect.

I have checked netstat -a to see if I am listening through that port and it says it is listening.

Have also tried it on several PC´s and it does the same in Vista.

Can someone give me some tips on how to do this?

Hi renus, welcome to the PCHF.

What error are you getting when you try to connect viat port 3393? And is there any specific reason you changed it?
