Windows Vista - [Resolved] No Vista Startup Logo posted in the Operating Systems forums; when my laptop loads up there is no logo on the loading screen just the loading bar, and also the startup sound never plays fluently it always jerks, pls help...

Unhappy [Resolved] No Vista Startup Logo

Hi there,

I use Vista Ultimate and I see no logo either...so no need to panic there. As for the stuttering startup sounds, maybe you need to find a newer, more compatible with Vista, sound card driver.

No i heard somewhere that the logo is disabled by default or is not on at all - cant exactly remember.

You might check your BIOS. Some BIOS have an option to turn the Logo on or off.

The Windows Vista boot screen has 2 options

1 is the green bar (similar to the XP blue bar) and the other is just a fancy thingie that doesn't really show anything is happening

To see this other option, hold down the Windows Key and push R, this will bring up the Run box.

In here, type msconfig and hit Enter.
Goto the Boot tab, and check the opiton No Gui boot

Restart, and you've got something different.

In regards to your sound on startup...the best advice i can give you is update your drivers...
