Exclamation Vista resume from sleep problem

Hi Guys

I have just done a relatively successful upgrade to vista but have problems with the resume sleep state. When it wakes up it the fans all power up but the system just hangs and doesn't boot, the only way round this is to turn off, disconnect power, press power on button for ten seconds then restart, which it then does fine.

I am running vista home premium on my pc with 1 gb ram, an ati radeon express 200 int. graphics card and realtek int. sound(both updated fpr vista). I have come across threads on various sites but none seem to have an answer.

Any Ideas?

Cheers

Justin.

Yup, it seems to be driver specific as there appears to be a fix for NVidia owners:
One possible solution for systems with nVidia graphics:
[BUG] “On resume from hibernate or sleep, the monitor only shows black but the computer is powered on. This can be worked around by completely turning off your computer and then restarting it.”
[FIX] nVIDIA believes this issue is fixed in v101.32. Please download the new driver and if you are still experiencing problems, please submit a bug report.”
