i could use some answers to this - i had my backup hard drive replaced and now it is no longer a RAID hard drive. I've got no clue how to fix that problem. I have Vista Home Premium. Even when I rebuild it to RAID, I still get the error, it just says that a third slot is missing, yet nothing was ever there?

You wrote that you can access your system in safe mod, so do that, copy your data to a usb drive and re-install
