Hey Manok,

Welcome back. Where is the driver that you are trying to install from? What is the make/model of the DVD player? Has this just been a problem since you installed Vista? Did you verify that the driver was compatible with Vista?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Yes, what I did was a system restore to the last point where I know the driver worked, and then uninstalled, then reinstalled manually, thanks.

Hey Manok,

It would be very helpful for us in troubleshooting, if you were to answer all of the questions posted. Also, your last post sounds as if the driver originally worked with Vista, if so, do you know of any hardware or software that you may have installed after the driver worked?

Looking forward to your reply,

Ah, OK, thank you for clearing that up, and also, thank you for coming back with the resolution. It is not uncommon for some drivers not to install properly especially with Vista. You handled it perfectly.

Look forward to seeing you around the forums.
