Default [Resolved] Might Get new Soundcard and a Question reguarding Vista

Just curious, but apparently my Soundblaster X-fi is not windows compatible, either that or I just need to install the drivers from the cd again, which I cant find, are there any soundcards that I should get specifically for vista if indeed I do have to get a new soundcard?

Hi Manok,

All Creative Soundblasters are compatible with Vista.

You can download new drivers from Creative Worldwide - Sound Blaster, MP3 Players, Speakers, Web Cameras and more. or Sound Blaster - Hear to Believe and selecting your correct model and operating system.

My problem is I got this error when I installed/upgraded to vista that said there is no audio output device installed, and I have tried downloading every soundblaster x-fi driver i could think of but it always told me there is no such device on my computer so setup will exit now.

Very interesting...
that happened to mine when i was running the beta - but it works now in the full version...

What version of Vista are you running? and what version of that version? 64bit or 32bit?
