Default [Answered] O&O Defrag Problem
When i try to defrag my C drive with O&O Defrag it always gets stuck on 47% On the same file each time.

i cant locate the file.

Has anyone else has this problem after installing Vista?

what happens when you use the vista defrag utility?

it seems to work mate but takes ages, an then when i go to O&O it now says 56% fragmented when it only said 34% before vista defrag.

well, O&O is most likely using a different algorithm than Vista; I know that when I used norton and it would say 10% fragmented, then checked with XP and it said 80 fragmented. So I would choose one and stick with it. You will most likely need to get a patch for O&O to run with Vista, but I am not entirely sure on that, as I don't fly vista.

were it up to me, I'd stick with the vista defrag tool until the dust clears.
