Windows Vista - [Answered] 32 bit & 64 bit posted in the Operating Systems forums; I was browsing ebay for windows vista ultimate, and the majority of the results i got said "32 & 64 bit" in the title...so my question is; what on earth ...

I was browsing ebay for windows vista ultimate, and the majority of the results i got said "32 & 64 bit" in the title...so my question is; what on earth does it mean?. lol.

It means that it will install either the 32bit or the 64bit version of Vista on your PC depending on your hardware & preference. Both versions are bundled together.

Not entirely true, the vista versions i saw either where 32bit or 64bit (although there was ones which were bundled together, but obviously it cost alot more)

But what IS 32bit?, or 64bit?, 32/64 bit what?. thats my question

It has to do with what kind of processor your using. If you have a 64 bit processor, it's suppost to be much better with graphics.
Your looking on ebay? That's not suppost to be there! It's not even released yet to the general public!

Which CPU's have 64 bit technology then?, i guess the core 2 duo's do...

And do mobo's also have to have this kind of technology or something?, or is it just purely to do with CPU's?.

AMD cpu's are 64 bit.

Beware of buying Windows Vista operating system on Ebay. Get it from a reputable dealer in your town / city as you will get some after sales support...
