Well i have been quite excited about vista for a while and descided to preorder it. I know there are going to be problems with it at first but that dosent bug me. Well i preordered it from Amazon.com and it says it is released on the 30th of this month and the expected delivery date is anywhere from the 6th-8th. Well is the 30th the official release date? or dose it have a good chance of getting pushed back ?

Good choice! I have been running the Vista Ultimate RTM for a month or so and I am yet to break it!! Sure, there are some software incompatibilities but these will disappear pretty soon, as software houses start to cater for the Vista market.

As to the release date, I can find nothing concrete. At least you have ordered it and will, more than likely, have it on your PC before the end of Feb! I know you'll love it.

I had the Vista Ultimat RC2 on a crappy dell and it ran slow so i didnt get to mess with it much.

Can you still download the vista RC2?

Also with the Vista Ultimate retail can i install it on more than one PC?

The customer preview program is now closed, so no, you can't download RC2 anymore.

I think the same terms will apply as XP - one license, one install.
