yeah it is quit a good package just have't had that much time to play with it.

I've installed Vista on dual boot a few months ago, I dont use it much though because I have all my stuff on XP. It looks great though and I really like some of the new features.

you don't have to defrag it now because it sposerbley does that for you when you are not useing it

I had a custom windows installed on my comp about 9 or 10 months ago and it had the skin of windows vista but still windows xp. iono wut that was but anyways does the second beta of windows vista take up that much ram? one of you said it takes up 700 ram and an average laptop these days only have 512 mb of ram how is microsoft gonna intergrate it into the laptops. My computer is 2 years old so it only has 512 MB of ram. man it's gonna suck if windows vista takes up that much ram. and yeah i have the MS office 2007 beta as well as the windows media player 11 beta, very very nice.

yeah 700MB of ram is what it took up on my desktop it goes down as i have said about 100MB or more when you turn of the glass effect but it still runs alright on 512MB which is what i had in the system at the time well it still has 512MB of ram. but at the moment windows vista has a loot of debug code in it so when that comes out it should speed up and use less ram, we will find out in the next beta that comes out as i think there will be a nuther one.

Hey adrian how do you turn off the glass effect thing, im running it on 512 MB ram and it's reallly reallly laggy. cant even use the media center nor media player 11 cuz it's so sloww.

hmm... windows vista is alot smarter than it's older brothers (xp, 2000...) Just like one of you said how one of your drivers dont work on vista same with me. I have sbc dsl, i have the ethernet card as well as the the device driver installed but vista says it doesnt work. However, Vista automatically searches for solutions for any problem the computer is having. Some how just rite now when i turn on my comp it's dowloading device drivers for my comp. sound driver doesnt work at first too but then it fixes it automatcally too. If this is not true then i must be on drug or something. Vista makes a few games dont work though.

AIM doesn't work on vista as well if anyone can help me out it'd be appreciated. I really need AIM. THankx
